Wings of Faith, aka Alas de Fe, is a Christ-centered church located in El Alto and serving communities across Bolivia with a passion to share the hope of Jesus Christ.
Each week individuals and families gather to worship God, study His Word, and encourage one another in faith; because we believe the church is more than a place to attend, we are family.

At the heart of Wings of Faith Ministries is a commitment to seeing faith passed from one generation to the next.
Through teaching, discipleship, and outreach, we seek to guide children, youth, and families to know God and live according to His truth.
Our prayer is that every person would experience a life-changing encounter with God and grow into a lasting relationship with Him.
Our Story
Wings of Faith Ministries began in 1991 through the missionary work of Rev. Ben and Carmen Gil, who came to Bolivia in response to the calling of Jesus in Mark 16:15: “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.”
In the early years, they traveled to villages and held gatherings in rented movie theaters, plazas and community spaces, faithfully sharing the message of Christ and building relationships.
As the ministry grew, God opened the door to establish a permanent place for worship. In 1998, Alas de Fe Church was built in El Alto, Bolivia, becoming a place where people could gather to worship, grow in their faith, and find community.
Their daughter, Denise Gil, grew up closely connected to the ministry and the work her parents began in Bolivia. In 2023, Denise and her husband Marcelo Cruz stepped into leadership and began pastoring the church. Today they continue serving the church located in El Alto and reaching people across Bolivia through teaching, discipleship, and community ministry.

At Wings of Faith Ministries, our faith is centered on the truth of God's Word and the message of Jesus Christ.

• Salvation – We believe salvation is found through Jesus Christ alone.

• Communion – We believe communion is a sacred time to remember the sacrifice of Jesus.
• A Relationship with God – We believe God desires a personal relationship with every person.
